Brothers and Sisters,
Psalms 61 - 63 that we have just read teach us how to pray in the midst of our problems. I doubt anyone of us will ever face the constant danger on his lfe that David had faced. Either as a fugitive or a king, David's life was in constant danger, and yet he knew how to mix his prayers and supplications with thanksgivings. We should all learn from David how to pray away our problems by praising and glorifying God with our lips in all circumstances. No worship leader should ever need to coax us to sing to the Lord, eagerly we should say like David:
3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.
5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. (Psalm 63:3-5)
May the Lord richly bless you!
