Job 5 - 7

Posted by: Pasteur Etzer Altidor on Wed, May 15, 2019

Bothers and Sisters,

In the church we encourage people to do "Exhortation", it means to challenge people about their approach to the Christian life. But sometimes in small circle, the act of "Exhortation" can create more problems than it solves. Leaders who engage themselves in this type of ministry should be well grounded and highly emotionally intelligent. They must possess the capacity for recognizing their own feelings and those of others, for motivating themselves, and for managing emotions well in themselves and their relationships.

Job's friend seems to be oblivious to Job's pain. Job did not need generalities in his special circumstances, he needed support not advice. Leaders must develop their emotional intelligence to effectively lead others.

Job 5 - 7

May the Lord richly bless you!
