Brothers and Sisters,
29 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. 30 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”
31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. (Acts 4)
When anointed preaching, healing, signs and wonders are missing from the life of a church, that church will turn solely into a social gathering instead of the life changing church envisioned by the Christians of the primitive church at Jerusalem. The prayer of Acts 4:29-31 is a powerful prayer that every Christian needs to pray for their local church. People should experience salvation, healing and deliverance when they come to our churches.
