Brothers and Sisters,
3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Timothy 4)
In these last days that all Christians need to dedicate themselves to the reading of the Bible for themselves. There is a great temptation for pastors and preachers to preach what the people want to hear and to leave out what would offend the majority of the people. So the protection against being fed only the light portion of Scriptures is to read the whole Bible and let the Holy Spirit speak to you.
