Acts 12 - 14

Brothers and Sisters,

21 On the appointed day Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne and delivered a public address to the people. 22 They shouted, “This is the voice of a god, not of a man.” 23 Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.(Acts 12)

Herod did not die because he persecuted the church in Jerusalem and had the apostle James, the brother of John and son of Zebedee, put to death by the sword. But Herod died because he did not give praise to God (Acts 12:23). Do you give praise to God?  Do you give him credit for your success and  for your great accomplishments?

Please read the three chapters Acts 12 - 14.

May the Lord richly bless you!
