⁴⁹ “‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. (Ezek. 16)

"Blessed are the compassionate, for they shall receive compassion. (Matthew 5:7)" As long as we are  living an imperfect life (most of us do), we will need compassion. May we never be arrogant, uncaring toward the poor and needy.
