Brothers and Sisters,
The fool says in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
there is no one who does good.(Psalms 53:1)
Please read Psalms 52 - 54. And Listen.
May the Lord richly bless you!
Brothers and Sisters,
Psalms 46 is one of my favorite psalms. Last year during a time of great trial, I did pray that psalm at least one hundred times a day, not for vain repetition, but in order to bring the truth of that psalm from my head to my heart. These are the most calming words that I have spoken.
1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging. (Psalms 46)
Please read Psalms 46 - 48. And Listen.
May the Lord richly bless you!
Brothers and Sisters,
5 Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God. (Psalms 43)
We have to talk to ourselves in a faith filled way, that is our only good choice.
Please read Psalms 43 - 45. And Listen
May the Lord richly bless you!
Brothers and Sisters,
I have heard many times that you don't need to tell people you are a Christian, your attitude should tell them that you are a Christian and draw them to ask you questions about your Christian faith. However, the Psalmist as we see below would beg to differ with that approach. He is very vocal about his relationship with God. A wiriness must testify.
9 I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly;
I do not seal my lips, Lord,
as you know.
10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
from the great assembly. (Psalms 40)
Please read Psalms 40 - 42. And Listen.
May the Lord richly bless you!
Brothers and Sisters,
1 Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalms 37)
Please read Psalms 35 - 39. And Listen.
May the Lord richly bless you!
Brothers and Sisters,
8 Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
9 Fear the Lord, you his holy people,
for those who fear him lack nothing.
10 The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. (Psalms 34)
Please read Psalms 30 - 34. And Listen.
May the Lord richly bless you!
Brothers and Sisters,
5 They will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God their Savior.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob. (Psalms 24)
Please read Psalms 24 - 27. And Listen.
May the Lord richly bless you!
Bothers and Sisters,
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. (Psalms 23)
Please read Psalms 21 - 23. And Listen.
May the Lord richly bless you!
