Brothers and Sisters,

The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense[a];
    he has become my salvation.” ( Isaiah 12)

Isaiah 9 - 11

Brothers and Sisters,

The verses listed below are about Jesus who is ever present with us. Do you love and appreciate the gift of the Father?

For to us a child is born,     to us a son is given,     and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called     Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,     Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the greatness of his government and peace     there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne
    and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it     with justice and righteousness     from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty     will accomplish this.(Isaiah 9)

Please read Isaiah 9 - 11. And Listen.

May the Lord richly bless you!

Isaiah 6 - 8

Brothers and Sisters,

6 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another:

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
    the whole earth is full of his glory.”

At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.

“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Please read Isaiah 6 - 8. And Listen.

May the Lord richly bless you!

Isaiah 3 -5

Brothers and Sisters,

Let us go to the Lord in humility of the heart, asking him forgiveness for our sins, and grace to leave a life that pleases him.

20 Woe to those who call evil good
    and good evil,
who put darkness for light
    and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
    and sweet for bitter. (Isaiah 5)

Please read Isaiah 3 - 5. And Listen.

Song of Songs 6 - Isaiah 2

Brothers and Sisters,

19 If you are willing and obedient,
    you will eat the good things of the land;
20 but if you resist and rebel,
    you will be devoured by the sword.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. ( Isaiah 1)

Ecclesiastes 12 - Song of Songs 2

Brothers and Sisters,

13 Now all has been heard;
    here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
    for this is the duty of all mankind.
14 For God will bring every deed into judgment,
    including every hidden thing,
    whether it is good or evil.(Ecclesiastes 12)

The New Testament repeats the same truth, "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment," (Hebrews 9:27)

Please read Ecclesiastes 12 - Song of Songs 2. And Listen.

Ecclesiastes 9 - 11

Brothers and Sisters,

Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight;
    you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.

Whoever watches the wind will not plant;
    whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.

Sow your seed in the morning,
    and at evening let your hands not be idle,
for you do not know which will succeed,
    whether this or that,
    or whether both will do equally well. (Proverbs 11)

The above verses are the best investment advice that I have ever read. It is true that following the financial advice found in the Bible can really help people  become wealthy.

Please read Proverbs 9 - 11. And Listen.

May the Lord richly bless you!

Ecclesiastes 6 - 8

Brothers and Sisters,

10 Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?”
    For it is not wise to ask such questions. (Proverbs 7)

 As people of faith, we need to look to the future, a better future with new realities that will show God's faithfulness toward his children who trust in him.  We cannot dwell in the past, God has a great plan for our lives.

Please read Ecclesiastes 6 - 8. And Listen.

Proverbs 31 - Ecclesiastes 2

Brothers and Sisters,

The Psalms teach us how to worship; Proverbs, how to behave; Job, how to suffer; Song of Solomon, how to love; and Ecclesiastes, how to live. How? With realism and reverence, with humility and restraint, coolly and contentedly, in wisdom and in joy.

26 To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.(Ecclesiastes 2)

Revere God: fear in Ecclesiastes, as in Proverbs, means “trust, obey, and honor,” not “be terrified” (3:14; 5:7; 7:18; 8:12–13; 12:13). Recognize good things in life as gifts from God and receive them accordingly, with enjoyment (2:24–26; 5:18–19; 8:15; 9:7–9). Remember that God judges our deeds (3:17; 5:6; 7:29; 8:13; 11:9; 12:14). (Extract from article about J.I. Packer a great Christian Theologian)

Please read Proverbs 31 - Ecclesiastes 2. And Listen.

Proverbs 23 - 25

Brothers and Sisters,

Do not wear yourself out to get rich;

Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone,
    for they will surely sprout wings
    and fly off to the sky like an eagle. (Proverbs 23)
