Ezekiel 41 - 46

Brothers and Sisters,

28 “‘I am to be the only inheritance the priests have. You are to give them no possession in Israel; I will be their possession. 29 They will eat the grain offerings, the sin offerings and the guilt offerings; and everything in Israel devoted to the Lord will belong to them. 30 The best of all the firstfruits and of all your special gifts will belong to the priests. You are to give them the first portion of your ground meal so that a blessing may rest on your household. 31 The priests must not eat anything, whether bird or animal, found dead or torn by wild animals. (Ezekiel 44)

Ezekiel 39 - 40

Brothers and Sisters,

“‘I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I the Lord am the Holy One in Israel. It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign Lord. This is the day I have spoken of. (Ezekiel 39)

Ezekiel 36 - 38

Brothers and Sisters,

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army. Ezekiel 22 - 24

Brothers and Sisters,

Everyday very sad news keep coming about our country. When it seems that there is no hope, the world of the Lord gives up some hope. Even one person who knows God can make a difference on the direction of a country.

30 “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one. 31 So I will pour out my wrath on them and consume them with my fiery anger, bringing down on their own heads all they have done, declares the Sovereign Lord.” (Ezekiel 22)

Ezekiel 16 - 18

Brothers and Sisters,

“As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel. For everyone belongs to me, the parent as well as the child—both alike belong to me. The one who sins is the one who will die. (Ezekiel 18)

Many Haitian preachers like to preach about Generational Curses because many Haitian Christians enjoy this kind of preaching. Generational curses theology can be a coping mechanism for people who feel that they are powerless to change the situation of their lives; it gives them some solace by excusing themselves of any responsibility regarding their own choices. But this is a false way to cope with and to solve entrenched individual and societal problems. The one who sins is the one who will die.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ, the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes is the solution to Generational Curse mentality. Everyone should get rid at once of that way of thinking once they accept Christ as their personal savior since Christ paid for and cleansed us all of our sins.

Brothers and Sisters,

26 The word of the Lord came to me: 27 “Son of man, the Israelites are saying, ‘The vision he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies about the distant future.’

28 “Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’” (Ezekiel 12)

Ezekiel 1 - 3

Brothers and Sisters,

16 At the end of seven days the word of the Lord came to me: 17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 18 When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for[e] their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.

20 “Again, when a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before them, they will die. Since you did not warn them, they will die for their sin. The righteous things that person did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 21 But if you do warn the righteous person not to sin and they do not sin, they will surely live because they took warning, and you will have saved yourself.” (Ezekiel 1 - 3)

Lamentations 3 - 5

Brothers and Sisters,

21 Yet this I call to mind
    and therefore I have hope:

22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
    for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
    therefore I will wait for him.” (Lamentations 3)

Please read Lamentations 3 -5. And Listen.

May the Lord richly bless you!
