Job 34 - 38

Posted by: Pasteur Etzer Altidor on Fri, May 24, 2019

Brothers and Sisters,

"There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know." This quote is from Donald Rumsfeld, a former U.S. Secretary of defense. Essentially human beings are limited in their knowledge, even the greatest country with the best intelligence system will still make big blunders because of the limitation of its knowledge.

The Bible says that we know in part, then one day we shall know fully (1 Corinthians). In the meantime, the best course of action is the humility of knowing our limitations and of accepting God's sovereignty over his creation.

Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. He said:“Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge? (Job 38:2)

Job 34 - 38.

May the Lord richly bless you!
